Q. I don’t have a Parent Portal account. What should I do?
A. Click on the Portal Activation Instructions link above and follow the steps. If you are unable to create your account, please call 706-748-2271 for assistance.
Q. I followed the Portal Activation instruction and was not able to retrieve my portal activation key.
A. Please call 706-748-2271 or contact your child school for assistance.
Q. I have a Parent Portal account but I forgot my username and password.
A. On the Portal login page, there is a “Forgot Password?” and a "Forgot Username?" link. This will only work if you have set your security preferences and registered an email address when logging in previously. If you are not able to reset your password, please call 706-748-2271.
Q. I can login to the Parent Portal, but I only see one of my children.
A. Please verify you are NOT logging in with your child’s 10 digit GTID number. Parents should login with their own username and password. You may need to follow the steps above to create your own portal account. For additional assistance, call 706-748-2271. You can also call your child's school to make sure your information is correct and verify any corrections.
Q: After attempting to login several times, I am getting a box with scrambled letters and numbers when trying to log in. What is this and what does it mean?
A: This is called a “Captcha”. If a parent mistypes or enters the incorrect password too many times, a captcha will appear. This is a security feature to prevent unauthorized access to your account. You will then need to enter the correct username, password, AND letters/numbers in the captcha box in order to log in. The blue “refresh” button underneath the captcha box can be used to select a different captcha if one is too difficult to read. If the parent fails to login, then you will need to get your account reset. Please call 706-748-2271 to have your account reset.
